Festivals and Competitions Information
Arbutus Music Academy students regularly and successfully participate in various music festivals and competitions as soloists and chamber groups.
It’s a great privilege for us,Arbutus Music Academy teachers, to coach these wonderful young musicians so they can perform in these big events at their best!

Please talk to your individual teacher if you are thinking of playing or singing in one of these festivals. Your teacher can help you to build a good plan for your practices and supervise the process of preparation closely.
Please note that if you are a singer or you play any string,woodwind or brass instrument you must have a piano accompanist for your performance.

Free Trial Lessons
A private 30-minute trial lesson for new violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar, voice and private and semi-private theory students is free of charge and may be booked through the Free trial lesson form. A fee of $40 will be charged for additional trials with other teachers.
