All registrations ( except all summer lessons/programs) are subject to annual non-refundable registration fee of $70.00 (max $100 per family)   payable upon receipt of your invoice to Arbutus Music Academy via cheque, eTransfer or major credit cards.

An academic year consists of 36 weeks of instruction and is divided into 2 terms,18 weeks each. Fall Term is September through January ( with Winter Break), and  Spring Term is February through June (with Spring Break).

Private lesson tuition fees (outlined under Private Lessons tabs) are payable per term in advance directly to individual teachers. Teachers accept payment by cheque, eTransfer, or cash and will issue a receipt upon request. In special circumstances, installment payments may be arranged directly with your teacher.

Group class fees ( outlined under Group Classes tabs) are payable upon receipt of an invoice to either Arbutus Music Academy or an individual teacher ( depending on the class). The space in a  group class will not be reserved until a full payment is received. 

New students  may begin lessons at any time. In the first term of enrollment, tuition will be prorated according to the number of remaining weeks in the term.

Summer Term private lessons ( flexible number of weeks in July-August) are available and charged per hour. They are payable in full before the first lesson.
